Projects and Skills is a free course in the MemberPress.ai Academy for ending that loop. It’s open to everyone and set at an intermediate level: eight lessons, 2 hours 30 minutes in all. ## Who it’s for Anyone who already uses Claude and has noticed they keep telling it the same things. If you have a task that comes back every week, with instructions that barely change from one week to the next, this course is built around exactly that kind of work. ## What you’ll be able to do By the end, you’ll have a Project: one place that holds your standing instructions and the few files Claude needs, so every new chat starts ready for the work. You’ll have written a Skill: a step-by-step card for one task that Claude follows when you call on it. And you’ll know how to share both with your team and keep them accurate as your work changes. ## Lessons worth starting with - **A Project is a working set.** That’s the video on this page. Lesson 1 gives you a simple test. Does the task come back? Does the background stay the same? If both answers are yes, it belongs in a Project. If either is no, a regular chat is fine. Write one short paragraph that says Claude’s role, what the answer should look like and what makes it good. Attach only what Claude would get wrong without, then test it on real work. - **A Skill is a laminated card.** Picture the card on a factory floor: step one, step two, check this before moving on. The best time to write one is right after you’ve done a task you’ll do again, while the steps are still fresh. - **Sharing Skills with your team.** A Skill that lives only on your computer helps only you. This lesson shows you how to keep your Skills in one shared place, so a teammate doesn’t rebuild the same steps from scratch. ## Start with one task Pick one task you know you’ll do again next week. By the end of it you’ll have written three sentences: who Claude is, what the answer looks like, and what makes it good. That’s the start of your first Project.
