# Add and remove a queued content topic

Updated October 21, 2026

Use the Queue in Generations to plan what to write for one connected site. Adding a topic to the queue does not start a draft or spend generation credits.

## Video: manage one queued topic

The walkthrough adds a demo topic, checks it after a reload, then removes that same row. It leaves Generate untouched.

## Add a topic

1. In the MemberPress.ai app, select one connected site and open **Generations**.
2. Open **Queue** and enter a **Topic**.
3. Choose **Post** or **Page** under **Type** and review **Priority**.
4. Choose **Add to queue**. Check the title and **Queued** status in the new row.

The example keeps priority at 50. Use a priority that fits your own list; higher-priority topics appear first.

## Remove a topic without generating it

Find the exact row you no longer need and choose **Remove**. Check that the intended topic has gone and the other queued topics remain.

**Generate now** starts generation as well as adding the topic. A queued row’s **Generate** button starts that topic. Use those controls only when you want the work to begin and have checked the credit cost.

See [Generations](https://memberpress.ai/help/generations/) for the other tabs and [Credits](https://memberpress.ai/help/credits/) for generation charges.
