# Your money plan

Your money plan turns a membership idea into numbers: what to charge, what you’d make, and how much time it takes to get there.

## The numbers

The plan lists figures such as:

-   **Suggested membership price**, and projected revenue at month 3, 6, and 12.
-   **Share of members on your lowest tier**, and new list subscribers each week.
-   **The week you can start selling** and the week of your first revenue.
-   **Time it takes** — yours, reviewing drafts, turning your own material into content, approving pages, and talking with members; ours, building the site, setting up memberships, and publishing.

Every figure carries its own **citation**, showing what it’s based on.

**Viewing your money plan isn’t a Pro feature.** You can see it on a free account, or through its private link if you haven’t signed up yet.

## Build my site

The “Build my site” section is where Pro comes in — **only starting the actual build is gated**, not the plan itself:

-   **On Pro**, your first site build is included — name your business and the build starts. If site building isn’t open on your account yet, you’ll see **Site building is not open yet** and can still connect a site you already run. If you already use your included site, the button reads **Add this site — Checking price/mo** instead. Clicking it agrees to the extra Checking price/mo, which is charged only once the new site finishes connecting.
-   **Signed in, not on Pro**, a “Continue to checkout” button takes you to upgrade. Nothing is charged or built until you do.
-   **Signed in, but opened from a private link**, a **Save this plan to my account** button moves the plan to your account in one click.
-   **Not signed in yet**, your plan lives under a private link with a token in it. Save that link — it’s the only way back to the plan, and it can’t be sent to you again. Creating an account or signing in claims the plan for you, and building still needs Pro after that.

### Do I need to be on Pro to see my money plan?

No. Viewing is free, on your account or through the private link if you haven't signed up. Only starting the actual site build requires Pro.

### Where do the numbers come from?

Each figure on the page names what it's based on.

### What if I haven't signed up yet?

Your plan is saved under a private link. Save that link, since it's the only way back to the plan until you create an account or sign in to claim it.
