Achievements
Achievements is your badge wall for MemberPress.ai. Open it from the
account menu, where the Achievements row already shows how many you’ve
earned out of the total. The page itself, at /achievements, shows a progress
meter and your badges grouped by category.
Today there are 7 badges in two categories on the page — “Getting set up” and “Asking questions”. Only categories that already have badges are shown, so you never see an empty heading. More categories may appear later when new badges are added.
The badges
- Connected — you connected your first site.
- Plugged In — your site’s plugin is reporting in.
- Onboarded — you finished onboarding.
- First Question — you asked the advisor your first question.
- Advisor 5 / 10 / 50 — a ladder for total conversations with the advisor, one badge each at 5, 10, and 50. Five questions in one chat count as one conversation. Each level keeps its own earned date.
A locked badge shows a short hint for what earns it.
When a badge shows up
MemberPress.ai checks for newly earned badges when the app loads your
achievements data, not the instant you meet a condition in chat or on
another screen. That load runs once after you sign
in or reload the page, and again when you open Achievements (including
/achievements). Moving between other pages in the same session does not
trigger another check, so the account menu count can lag until you reload,
sign in again, or open Achievements.
Opening Achievements is the reliable way to see badges you’ve just earned and refresh the menu tally. If you start your 5th conversation and keep working elsewhere, open Achievements (or reload) to credit Advisor · 5 and update the count.
Once earned, a badge is never lost. It’s a permanent record of something that happened, so nothing you do afterward — including undoing the thing that earned it — takes it away.
Why the plugin shows fewer badges
The badge wall in wp-admin, under Your badges on the plugin’s Reports tab, is tied to one site, so it shows Connected, Plugged In, and Onboarded only. It shows that site’s current state rather than your earned record: a site that hasn’t reported in yet won’t show Plugged In, even if you earned it on another site. First Question and the Advisor levels count conversations across all your sites, and a single site’s key must not reveal that account-wide activity. The app shows the full set.

FAQ
Where do I see my badges?
From the account menu, choose Achievements. The menu row already shows how many you've earned out of the total before you open the page.
What earns a badge?
Connecting your first site, your site's plugin reporting in, finishing onboarding, asking the advisor your first question, and reaching 5, 10, or 50 conversations with the advisor in total.
Can I lose a badge once I've earned it?
No. A badge you've earned is a permanent record and is never taken away, even if the thing that earned it later stops being true — deleting the site you connected doesn't un-earn Connected, for example.
Why didn't my menu count update right after I earned a badge?
The app only checks for new badges when it loads achievements data—once when the sidebar first mounts after sign-in or a full reload, and again when you open Achievements. Meeting a condition elsewhere does not update the count until one of those loads runs. Open Achievements to see new badges and refresh the tally.
