Setting up membership drafts with Opal

Watch the setup walkthrough

In this 42-second example, a watercolor teacher chooses a course academy as the starting point. Opal asks how people should join and what the main course should cost, then prepares membership drafts and supporting pages.

The example includes a free first lesson, a $150 course and an optional monthly cohort. Those are this example’s choices, not required prices for your site. Opal also creates an empty course shell with four modules. It does not contain written lessons.

Check the drafts before launch

Review each membership’s price and billing period, the supporting pages and the course structure. The walkthrough stops at draft review. Access rules and payment setup still need attention before people can buy or access protected content. Publishing is a separate decision for the owner.

For the approval steps, read Which changes ask you to confirm. To generate course lessons, follow Building courses. If the site is not connected yet, start with Connecting your site.
