Using MemberPress.ai from your own AI client

Once your site runs the MemberPress.ai plugin, it serves an MCP endpoint on your own domain. That means you don’t have to work from wp-admin — you can drive your membership site from an AI client you already use, like Claude or ChatGPT.

How it works

• Your site exposes an MCP endpoint at /wp-json/mp-mcp/v1/mcp on your own domain, secured with OAuth so only you can authorize a client.
• You connect your client to that endpoint and approve on your own WordPress login. The connection is revocable there.
• Your client discovers the available tools — memberships, members, subscriptions, transactions, courses, rules, and reports — and can act on your site through them.

What stays true no matter the client

• Every write previews as a dry run first, and sensitive actions ask for a second confirmation. See What you approve.
• The plugin never sends your credentials anywhere. Your password never leaves your site.
• Connecting your own client is always a one-click authorize you do inside your client. We can set up your site server-side, but we can’t reach into your Claude or ChatGPT.
